Aglianico
Wine
S.C. Pannell Aglianico is made from the southern Italian variety Aglianico, grown on just six rows of the winery's Olivers Road Vineyard in McLaren Vale.
The fruit is handpicked then open top fermented. The juice spends around four weeks on skins before being sent to puncheons for maturation. The wine is bottled without fining or filtration.
Dark red, S.C. Pannell Aglianico has a deep vein of dark fruit flavours, dusty earth characters and long natural tannins. Cellaring potential is 10 years.
